Kian marine is a specialist in governor service and repairs.

Our purpose built governor workshops are all ISO 9001 certified and fully equipped with the highly trained and experienced personnel and specialized tools required to complete repairs and overhauls and comprehensive testing on the full range of Woodward governors and actuators.

As a Woodward distributor operating a large number of Authorized Independent Facilities around the world, Kian marine follows a strict quality control process for the completion of all overhauls and repairs. The entire process from disassembly, cleaning and inspection to rebuild, testing and calibration is tightly controlled to ensure that your governor operates with the correct specifications every time. Kian marine uses only genuine Woodward replacement parts in all of our repairs and all repairs carry full warranties.

Kian marine’ governor experts also have the experience and capability to overhaul and repair Regulateurs Europa, Heinzmann and Zexel-Diesel Kiki hydraulic and mechanical governors.

Governor Exchange Program
Kian marine’ Exchange program is designed to minimize downtime for the end user. In the event of an unexpected outage or when service windows are small, Kian marine maintains a stock of like new exchange units ready to be customized for your specific requirements and dispatched to your site. If the required unit is available in stock, it can usually be shipped out within 24 hours. Once the replacement unit is installed, the damaged unit is returned to Kian marine. This service is provided on a fixed price basis plus a core charge when the unit is shipped. A credit for the core charge will be issued provided the damaged unit is returned to TIG marine within 30 days.
